R&B Mechanical, Inc. was selected by Jacobsen Construction, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to complete the HVAC and Plumbing scopes for the second temple in Pennsylvania. The temple will be approximately 32,000 square feet, three-stories (including the basement), with a center spire. On the 5.8-acre site, there is also a ground’s building for maintenance vehicles and personnel, and a utility yard housing some chilled water system equipment.
The HVAC equipment portion of the project includes (1) Chiller, (1) Dry Cooler, (2) Boilers, (1) Air Handling Unit, (3) Electric Steam Humidifiers, (8) Fan Coil Units, (6) Exhaust Fans, (8) Lint Traps, (28) Hot Water Terminal Boxes, (7) Hydronic Pumps, (3) VFD’s, (1) Heat Exchanger, (3) Air Separators, (1) Natural Gas Unit Heater, (3) Expansion Tanks, (2) Glycol Feed Systems, and (1) Electric Unit Heater.
The Plumbing portion of the project includes (4) Expansion Tanks, (1) Water Softener System, (1) RO System, (1) Air Compressor, (2) Pumps, (1) Sump Pump, (4) Electric Water Coolers, (3) Gas Fired Water Heaters, and Multiple High-End Plumbing Fixtures.
